Tory Bentz (she/they) is an arts educator with a passion for helping students and clients realize their dreams. They hold an MA in Educational Theater from New York University, a BFA in Musical Theater, and a minor in Creative Writing from The University of the Arts. Tory is certified in teaching (Pre-K through 12th grade), IB education, and crisis counseling.
With experience as both an educator and administrator in rigorous schools, combined with her background as a certified crisis counselor, Tory is well-equipped to support clients in achieving challenging goals within a safe and judgment-free environment. Their experience teaching in both traditional and virtual settings allows her to build meaningful connections with students and clients, whether in person or online.
Tory enjoys working with clients of all ages who wish to enhance their communication and social skills, increase self-awareness, regulate emotions, or feel more confident and in control when presenting or performing. As an ADHDer, Tory’s firsthand experience with a learning disability has given her the ability to think outside the box and support clients across the spectrum of neurodivergence. They find joy in learning about how different people think and work with clients to explore strategies that best suit their unique needs and values.
When not working, Tory enjoys spending time with friends, family, or their two cats, trying to eat more vegetables, reading, and cracking jokes. Loved ones and colleagues describe Tory as caring, funny, and positive.
