"If you’re always trying to be normal you will never know how amazing you can be."
Dr. Maya Angelou

As a Coordinator at New Frontiers, Mary partners with clients to strengthen executive functioning skills, develop study strategies, and build confidence in their ability to learn and grow. She is passionate about helping individuals connect what they are learning to their own goals and experiences, making education relevant and motivating. Known for her creativity, warmth, and supportive presence, Mary works with clients of all ages to ensure they feel empowered to take ownership of their learning.
Mary earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Education at the University of Delaware with dual certification in Elementary and Special Education. She continued her studies at Long Island University Mercy Campus, where she earned a Master of Science in Education with a focus on Literacy. This strong academic foundation has shaped her expertise in both content instruction and skill development, equipping her to support learners with diverse needs and goals.
Throughout her career, Mary has taught and supported students from kindergarten through high school, as well as adult learners pursuing education for personal or professional growth. She has extensive experience in helping individuals make meaningful connections between schoolwork and real-world application, guiding them to see how skills such as organization, planning, and time management extend beyond the classroom. Mary specializes in weaving students’ interests into the learning process to boost motivation and engagement, while also offering practical strategies to strengthen executive functioning and study habits. With empathy and a problem-solving mindset, she works closely with both individuals and families to navigate challenges and make learning a positive, productive experience.
Outside of her professional role, Mary enjoys an active and creative life. She lives in Westchester County, New York, with her husband and is the proud mom of two young adult sons and a rescue dog. She gives back to her community through her involvement in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., where she participates in service initiatives. A lifelong learner, Mary loves exploring new hobbies—whether sewing, watercolor painting, or learning to play pickleball. Photography is one of her greatest passions, and she often lends her skills by assisting at formal events and conferences with her camera in hand.
At New Frontiers, Mary helps clients strengthen executive function skills such as organization, time management, planning and prioritization, and follow-through. She also supports individuals in developing effective study strategies, staying motivated, and building confidence in their ability to learn. With her blend of expertise, empathy, and creativity, Mary ensures that each client has the tools and encouragement they need to succeed in school, work, and life.
