"Understanding how your brain works is the first step to success—by developing the right strategies, anyone can build confidence, independence, and resilience."

Lee G.

As a Coordinator at New Frontiers, Lee brings more than 27 years of experience in education, coaching, and behavioral support to his work with clients. He partners with teenagers, young adults, and adults to strengthen executive functioning skills, build independence, and develop strategies that foster long-term success. Lee also works closely with parents and families, helping them create supportive environments that reinforce growth and empower individuals to thrive.

Lee’s professional background is wide-ranging and includes roles as an Executive Functioning Coach, Behavioral Therapist, Resource Room Teacher, Academic Tutor, and Educational Consultant. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Music from Skidmore College and a Master’s degree in Special Education from Long Island University. In addition, he has earned certifications as a Special Education Teacher, Life Coach, Executive Functioning Coach, and ADHD Specialist. This broad experience has equipped him with the flexibility and insight to adapt his coaching to meet the diverse needs of his clients.

One of the qualities that makes Lee’s coaching particularly impactful is his personal connection to the challenges many of his clients face. As someone with ADHD himself, he understands firsthand the obstacles that can arise with attention, organization, and self-regulation. Through his own journey, he has developed proven strategies for managing these challenges, and he now shares this expertise with others. Lee also incorporates mindfulness practices into both his daily life and his coaching, recognizing the importance of self-awareness, focus, and balance in building executive function skills.

Outside of his professional work, Lee enjoys spending time with his family and embracing activities that bring him joy and creativity. He is passionate about cooking, often preparing meals for his loved ones, and he finds relaxation and inspiration in music. He also treasures time with his two golden retrievers, Bentley and Theo, whose playful energy adds warmth and balance to his daily life.

At New Frontiers, Lee supports clients in developing practical skills such as organization, time management, planning and prioritization, and follow-through. He also helps individuals strengthen communication, manage stress and emotions, and build social and life skills that contribute to independence and confidence. With his combination of professional expertise, personal insight, and a compassionate coaching style, Lee empowers clients and families to create pathways for lasting growth and success.
