Kim Kaskel
Coordinator
Kim went to The University of Texas at Austin where she graduated with a degree in Public Relations. Following graduation, she began a career in event planning, ending up in the non-profit sector. After several years in this field, she went back to school to pursue a career helping others in a more direct way.
She graduated from Teachers College, Columbia University with a Master’s in School Counseling and a Masters in Psychological Counseling. While in the program, she worked at a high school in Manhattan where she provided individual and group counseling sessions to students aged 14-18 regarding academic achievement, college and career planning, social behavior, and mental and physical health. She worked with students with IEP’s, collaborating closely with the Special Education department to ensure these students had the support needed to reach their highest potential. She worked with the rest of the student population on an as-needed basis on a range of issues. Together with the students, she developed plans to achieve academic goals, discussed issues related to family or peers, and problem-solved when applicable.
After graduation, Kim entered the field of coaching, where she works virtually and in-person with a range of clients aged 16-30 on executive function skills, life skills, social skills, and learning specific skills. She also provides social/emotional support for those who need it. Kim is fueled by her passion to provide a safe space for clients filled with understanding, healing, purpose, and direction.
