Julia Goldblatt holds a Master’s Degree from Columbia University in Developmental Disabilities and a Bachelor’s Degree from Indiana University in Teaching General, Special, and Gifted Education. She has teaching certifications in two states and worked as an elementary school teacher for five years. She is also an ADHD Certified Educator and specializes in working with teens with ADHD, while also working closely with their parents to provide support. Julia has experience working with individuals of various ages and ability levels, including those with ADHD, ASD, NVLD, Anxiety, Depression, Twice Exceptionalities, Bipolar Disorder, and Auditory/Visual Processing Disorders. She takes pride in building relationships that help each client achieve their goals.
Julia recognizes that everyone learns differently and is always researching new tools and strategies to share with her clients. As an educator, she excelled in identifying behaviors as a form of communication in the classroom. She understands that all behaviors represent an attempt to communicate a need or a skill that is yet to be learned, and she strives to teach behavior skills in fun, meaningful ways.
In her free time, Julia enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time outdoors with her rescue dog, Maggie.
