Alissa Cappelleri
"Executive function skills are the bridge between potential and achievement. When we equip coaches with the right tools, we empower individuals to build sustainable success on their own terms."
Alissa Cappelleri

As Learning and Development Coordinator at New Frontiers Executive Function Coaching, Alissa plays a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of successful coaches. She designs and implements high-level training programs, equipping coaches with the skills and strategies needed to provide impactful executive function support. Grounded in best instructional practices and behavior modification techniques, her approach ensures that professional development is both comprehensive and actionable.
Alissa holds a Master of Arts in Teaching in Special Education from The College of New Jersey, with a concentration in Emotional and Behavioral Challenges. Her graduate studies took her to Espoo International School in Finland, where she explored inquiry-based instruction and learner-centered approaches—insights she now applies to executive function coaching. As a certified Special Education teacher in New Jersey, she has worked across diverse learning environments, developing a deep commitment to fostering resilience and teaching skills that transcend any single classroom or workplace setting. Recognizing the unspoken expectations that individuals are often held accountable for, Alissa transitioned from traditional teaching to focus on equipping people of all ages with adaptable, cross-contextual executive function strategies for lifelong success.
Her passion for strengthening executive function skill interventions is evident through the workshops she leads for internal teams and collaborating organizations. Alissa values the power of strong partnerships—whether mentoring coaches, working directly with clients, or providing a sharp second set of eyes as individuals reflect on their own growth and decision-making.
Outside of work, Alissa is an avid reader, an aspiring watercolor artist, and enjoys having many one-sided conversations with her dog.
