Sign up now to join the next adventure with NFIL’s new Social Scene 2.0! Our Social Scene is geared towards young adults (21 years and older) looking to focus on advanced social skills. Transitioning to independence, creating social connections, preparing for job interviews, and exploring the dating arena are just a few of the areas we’ll cover. As always, our curriculum is tailored to the goals and interests of each participant.

Skill building will revolve around 3 domains:

Social Skills
Discussions about social cues, body language, appropriate language and boundaries will span from resumes and job interviews, to dating profiles and first dates.
Daily Living
Essential daily living skills include time management, budgeting, scheduling, and follow-through with social engagements, career opportunities, and daily/weekly responsibilities.

Exercising, stress management & mindfulness group discussions are reinforced with a yoga/meditation class and art class. Group discussions will also identify habits for clean & healthy living.

All activities are intended to support individuals in developing and utilizing a sophisticated level of executive functioning to increase independent social opportunities.
