The Five Steps of Our Coaching Process
Here's a deeper dive into the 5 Steps we take to ensure coaching get's started off on the right track.
Step 1: Discovery Call
The first step is an introductory call where we explore whether coaching is the right fit for you. We’ll discuss:
- What coaching at New Frontiers looks like
- How we tailor our support to individual needs
- Cost, scheduling, and next steps in the process
This is a no-pressure conversation to determine if we’re the right match for your goals.
Step 2: Consultation
Once you decide to move forward, we schedule a consultation to get a clearer picture of your strengths, weaknesses, and goals. In this session, we:
- Conduct a deep dive into your current challenges
- Develop initial coaching goals based on your needs
- Create a personalized coaching plan
This step helps us lay the groundwork for an effective coaching experience.
Step 3: Coaching Plan + Debrief
Before officially starting coaching, we hold a debrief session to review the plan. This conversation may include:
- Answering any additional questions
- Adjusting recommendations based on new insights
- Discussing logistics to begin coaching
This ensures you feel confident and aligned with the proposed plan.
Step 4: Introductory Meetings
After logistics are finalized, we introduce key stakeholders (e.g., parents, employers) to the coaching process. At this stage:
- A coordinator of services may meet with relevant stakeholders
- The assigned coach schedules and meets with the client
- Sessions officially begin with individualized support
This step helps transition smoothly into ongoing coaching sessions.
Step 5: Coaching Begins
Coaching isn’t just about getting started—it’s about continuous growth. Throughout the coaching journey, we:
- Regularly reassess progress and adjust goals
- Develop new strategies as needed
- Support clients in building long-term independence
- Using our RISE and RASP Models to fuel growth
Coaching is a collaborative process, and our goal is to empower you with skills that last a lifetime.
