"If you’re always trying to be normal you will never know how amazing you can be."
Dr. Maya Angelou

Mary earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Education at the University of Delaware with dual certification in Elementary and Special Education. She continued her studies at Long Island University Mercy Campus, earning a Master of Science in Education with a focus on Literacy.
Throughout her career, Mary has worked with students from Kindergarten through High School, and has increasingly supported adult learners as well. Her first love is helping individuals—of all ages—connect what they’re learning to their lives and goals. Whether it’s a student navigating school or an adult returning to learning or seeking personal growth, Mary specializes in connecting content to real-world relevance, strengthening executive functioning, and building practical study skills. She brings creativity and warmth to each session, helping learners stay motivated by weaving their interests into the process. Mary also understands the unique challenges families and individuals face during difficult learning moments, and she brings empathy and problem-solving to every interaction.
Mary lives in Westchester County, NY, with her husband and is a mom to two young adult sons and a rescue dog. In her free time, she enjoys giving back through community service with her sorority (Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.). A creative spirit, Mary loves jumping into learning new skills —whether it’s sewing, watercolor painting, or learning how to play pickleball (she is still working on that one.) One of her favorite hobbies is photography, and she can often be found assisting at formal events and conferences with her camera in hand.
