Michele has worked with New Frontiers since February 2022 and brings an extensive level of experience. Michele attended Pace University, received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and minored in Education and Criminology. She continued her education and attended Fordham University to earn her Master’s degree and Professional Diploma as a School Psychologist. Michele also attended the University of North Texas and earned her Behavior Analyst Certificate by completing five additional masters level courses.

Michele has worked in the field of public education for over twenty-five years in New Jersey.  She is a certified teacher of the handicapped and taught elementary school students for seven years.  Thereafter, she worked as a behavior consultant for nineteen years and was passionate about supporting and training teachers within their classrooms to balance classroom management, support strategies and reinforcement systems for their students. In addition, Michele provided staff trainings for local public school districts, supported students as they transitioned to less restrictive classroom environments, attended and participated in Individualized Education Plan meetings for students, developed behavior supports, conducted Functional Behavior Assessments and conducted trainings for parents who have children with special individualized needs. Michele has worked with children ranging in ages from 3 through 18 and benefit from support services due to an Autism Spectrum Disorder, anxiety disorder, communication disorder, psychiatric diagnosis, attention deficit disorder or learning disability. She remains committed and passionate about supporting students, their executive function skills, social emotional and academic needs.

Michele has been married for twenty-two years, has three children ages 12, 15 and 17, two adorable Labrador retrievers and they love to travel, hike and attend sporting events as a family.
