As a Coordinator at New Frontiers, Marissa works with students, parents, and adults, helping them develop essential time management, self-advocacy, executive function, and organizational skills. With a supportive and strengths-based approach, she collaborates with each individual to create practical, personalized plans of action that empower them to reach their goals.

Marissa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, as well as a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice with a specialization in Criminology & Social Deviance. She also earned a post-graduate certificate in Management Training, equipping her with strong leadership, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.

Her diverse professional background includes roles as a certified mediator, committee board member, service coordinator, special investigator for incident reviews, employment coach, and advocate. She has worked closely with school systems to consult on special policies and procedures and has provided therapeutic sessions and mediation services for adults, helping them navigate personal and professional challenges with clarity and confidence.

Outside of work, Marissa enjoys spending time with family, traveling, reading, and watching movies. She believes that growth starts with recognizing strengths and that executive function coaching provides the tools needed to turn potential into progress.
