As a Senior Coordinator at New Frontiers, Lana plays a central role in ensuring that clients receive the highest quality of support while also guiding and mentoring her fellow coordinators. She is deeply involved in refining coaching strategies, gathering feedback from clients and families, and continuously enhancing the services New Frontiers provides. Lana is known for her thoughtful, thorough approach and her commitment to creating an environment where both clients and colleagues can thrive.

Lana brings over twelve years of professional experience to her role, with a background that spans private and public schools, agencies, and home-based intervention programs across New York City. She is a dual-licensed Childhood (Birth–Grade 6) General and Special Education Teacher and has taught and mentored students from Pre-K through 12th grade across a wide range of academic subjects. She holds a Master of Science in Education in General and Special Education from Long Island University and a Bachelor of Arts from Brooklyn College. This strong foundation has shaped her expertise in individualized learning, skill development, and adaptive strategies that meet the diverse needs of learners.

She also finds energy and focus through fitness, whether she’s exploring local bike and running paths or staying engaged with the CrossFit community. These personal passions bring a sense of balance and vitality to her life and reflect the same dedication she brings to her work.

In her coaching, Lana helps clients strengthen key skills such as organization, time management, planning and prioritization, and follow-through on tasks. She also supports individuals in managing stress, building self-advocacy, and sustaining motivation through challenges. With her background in teaching and mentoring, she is particularly skilled at fostering communication, adaptability, and confidence, ensuring clients have the tools and strategies to grow both in their immediate goals and long-term pursuits.
