Executive Function Coach

Michele M.P.

Executive Function Coach at New Frontiers, helping students develop executive function skills, behavior strategies, and social-emotional growth for lifelong success.

"Resilience and grit keep us moving forward, but gratitude keeps us grounded. These are key elements and together, they strengthen executive function—sharpening focus, improving decision-making, and enhancing adaptability. When we cultivate all three, we unlock greater success, deeper relationships, and a more fulfilling life."

Michele M.P.

Since joining New Frontiers in February 2022, Michele has brought more than 25 years of expertise in education, psychology, and behavior support to her work with clients. She focuses on helping individuals strengthen their executive functioning skills, build independence, and gain confidence in both academic and personal settings. Michele is known for her thoughtful and practical approach, guiding clients as they develop strategies for organization, planning, and self-management that can be applied across school, work, and daily life.

Michele’s professional background spans teaching, consultation, and staff training. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with minors in Education and Criminology from Pace University, followed by a Master’s degree and Professional Diploma in School Psychology from Fordham University. She later completed a Behavior Analyst Certificate through additional graduate-level coursework at the University of North Texas. This strong educational foundation allowed her to pursue a career devoted to supporting students, families, and educators in developing effective strategies for learning and growth.

Over the course of her career, Michele has taught and supported students ages 3 to 18 with a wide range of learning profiles and needs. As a certified Teacher of the Handicapped, she spent seven years in the classroom teaching elementary school students before moving into a behavior consultant role that she held for 19 years. In that capacity, she partnered closely with teachers, parents, and school districts, providing staff training, designing classroom management systems, creating behavior support plans, and assisting with student transitions. She has also played an active role in school-based planning and development through her work with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Across these roles, Michele’s focus has always been on helping students build essential skills, strengthen their confidence, and reach their full potential.

Beyond her professional work, Michele is dedicated to her family and enjoys a wide range of personal interests. She has been married for 22 years and is a proud mother of three children, ages 12, 15, and 17. Together, they enjoy traveling, hiking, and attending sporting events, often accompanied by the family’s two Labrador retrievers. Michele values time outdoors and brings the same energy and enthusiasm she shares with her family into her work with clients.

At New Frontiers, Michele supports clients in developing skills such as organization, time management, planning and prioritization, and follow-through. She also helps individuals strengthen self-advocacy, manage transitions, and build confidence in social and academic situations. Her expertise in classroom systems and family collaboration informs her coaching, ensuring that clients are equipped with practical strategies that foster both immediate progress and long-term growth.
