About Maureen H.
A Little About Me
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies of Psychology and Social Work from Molloy College, and later completed a Master’s degree in Disability Services in Higher Education at the CUNY School of Professional Studies. I spent years at NYU’s Office of Accessibility Services, first as a Disability Specialist and later as Assistant Director, experience that means I’ve supported people at every stage of the college journey, and I bring that same attentiveness to clients well beyond the classroom.
Outside of work, I enjoy gardening, walking, and cycling.
My Coaching Style
My approach starts with real listening. I believe trust and engagement come first, before any strategy, so I take the time to actually understand where someone is coming from.
Clients describe me as attentive and empathetic, someone who’s easy to open up to.
I especially enjoy helping clients strengthen their organization, time management, problem-solving, and priority-setting, not as a checklist, but as tools that actually fit how they think and work.
Working Together
Clients who enjoy working with me often appreciate that I:
- Start with real listening, before jumping to strategy
- Build genuine trust so you feel comfortable being honest
- Help you strengthen organization, time management, and problem-solving
- Bring years of experience supporting people through major transitions
- Stay attentive and empathetic, session after session
I’m passionate about helping every client reach their full potential, one honest conversation and one practical strategy at a time.
