Lydia is an Executive Function Coach at New Frontiers, where she supports clients in building practical strategies that help them move toward their goals with greater clarity, ease, and confidence. She brings a warm, empowering approach to her work, helping individuals reduce daily stress, create routines that align with their values, and develop systems that make life feel more manageable and fulfilling. Lydia believes that executive functioning is a lifelong practice—one rooted in self-understanding, curiosity, and the ongoing process of discovering what truly works for each person.

Lydia’s coaching is informed by her own experience as a neurodivergent learner. Through navigating her academic and personal life, she has developed tools for strengthening time management, planning, organization, problem solving, goal setting, and adapting to major life transitions. She brings this experiential insight to her coaching with empathy and authenticity, offering clients an environment where experimentation, self-acceptance, and growth are encouraged. She champions the idea that no goal is too small or too ambitious, and that progress becomes meaningful when both the destination and the process are valued.

Originally from southwest Missouri, Lydia earned her B.A. in Cinema Studies from Oberlin College, where she also minored in Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies. Her academic background strengthened her ability to think critically, analyze complex ideas, and understand diverse perspectives—skills that naturally support her coaching work and her ability to connect with clients in a thoughtful, engaged way.

Outside of her role at New Frontiers, Lydia has a wide range of interests that keep her grounded and inspired. She enjoys reading, practicing yoga, biking, and exploring interior design as a creative outlet. She also treasures time spent with her adorable cat, who provides steady companionship and plenty of personality. These interests reflect Lydia’s appreciation for balance, curiosity, and spaces that feel both functional and joyful—perspectives she often brings into her coaching conversations.

Lydia supports clients in areas such as organization, time management, planning and prioritization, task initiation, problem solving, navigating transitions, and developing sustainable habits. She also helps individuals strengthen self-advocacy, motivation, emotional regulation, and flexibility as they move toward their goals. Her approach is relatable, supportive, and grounded in the belief that with the right strategies and insight, everyone can create meaningful change in their lives.
