"Your value does not waiver."
Lydia S.
Lydia is an Executive Function Coach at New Frontiers who brings leadership experience, cross-cultural perspective, and a deep commitment to whole-person wellness to her work with students, families, and clients. She helps clients build practical systems for organization, time management, planning, and follow-through while strengthening emotional regulation, motivation, and self-advocacy. Her approach is warm yet structured, empowering clients to reduce stress, increase independence, and create sustainable progress.
Her coaching is grounded in both professional leadership experience and lived understanding as a neurodivergent learner. Through navigating her own academic and personal journey, Lydia developed strong tools for planning, prioritization, goal setting, and adapting to major transitions. She brings this insight into her work with empathy and authenticity, creating space for experimentation, accountability, and growth. She believes executive functioning is about building systems that truly work for each individual.
Before joining New Frontiers, Lydia built a career in creative media production across video, audio, documentary, and branded content. She managed complex productions across cities and time zones and oversaw intricate production timelines requiring real-time problem solving, strategic planning, and clear communication. These experiences sharpened her project management skills and ability to break down large goals, prioritize effectively, pivot when plans change, and follow through with confidence. She has also collaborated internationally, including while based in Taiwan, navigating cultural differences and remote coordination
Her foundation in education and mentorship began at Oberlin College, where she earned her B.A. in Cinema Studies with a minor in Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies. She worked at the Writing Center as a peer tutor and Course Writing Associate, supporting students across disciplines. She has also tutored math and English, served as a counselor in youth summer programs, and served as a peer counselor through her college’s Student Health Center. Lydia remains deeply committed to mental health and wellness through her volunteer work with Crisis Text Line.
Lydia supports clients in organization, planning and prioritization, time management, task initiation, navigating transitions, and building sustainable routines, while also strengthening self-advocacy and awareness, flexibility, and resilience. She is passionate about creating structure out of chaos, and clients respond to her collaborative and compassionate style. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, yoga, biking, interior design, and studying Mandarin, bringing curiosity and balance into both her life and her coaching work.
