About Kim M.

A Little About Me

I’ve spent 23 years in education, mental health counseling, and school leadership, and what ties it all together is a fascination with how learning, behavior, and emotion intersect. Whether I’m working with a student, a young professional, or someone navigating a major life or career change, that same intersection is exactly where I help clients find their footing.

At home, I’m most proud of my two teenage sons. I’m big on staying active—the beach and a daily workout are non-negotiable for me—and that discipline shows up in how I coach, too.

My Coaching Style

I like to combine structure with empathy. My counseling background means I’m always paying attention to the emotional layer underneath a challenge, not just the logistics.

Clients find me collaborative and encouraging—I want people to feel like a partner in the process, not a project.

I care as much about how clients feel about themselves as I do about the strategies we build, because that combination is what makes progress stick.

Working Together

Clients who enjoy working with me often appreciate that I:

  • Combine structure with real empathy for what’s underneath a challenge

  • Meet you as a genuine partner, not a project

  • Help make big goals feel achievable, one step at a time

  • Stay adaptable when plans need to shift

  • Build confidence alongside practical strategies

Planning isn’t just about calendars—it’s about building the confidence to follow through on what matters to you.
