About Jon G.

At New Frontiers, Jon works with clients of all ages to strengthen executive functioning skills and develop effective strategies for success in school, work, and daily life. He partners closely with students, early-career professionals, and adults to build confidence in areas such as planning, organization, and time management, ensuring they have the tools they need to reach their academic and professional goals. Known for his thoughtful and personable approach, Jon creates supportive coaching partnerships that encourage clients to become independent, resilient learners.

Jon brings extensive experience as a special education teacher and tutor. He earned a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education and Certification in General Special Education from the University of New Hampshire and has taught adolescents and adults in public and private schools, adult education programs, and community colleges. As a Professional Tutor at two community colleges in New England, he worked with first-generation college students, individuals navigating learning and attention challenges, and second-language learners. He has also supported students preparing for their GEDs as they worked toward higher education and career advancement. Across these experiences, Jon has helped learners build essential skills in writing, developmental math, and academic strategy, always tailoring his support to meet the unique needs of each individual.

As a coach, Jon focuses on fostering lifelong learning. He partners with clients to strengthen planning, organizational, time management, and study skills, helping them take clear, confident steps toward their goals. His holistic perspective—shaped in part by his certification as a Classical Homeopath (CCH)—adds depth to his coaching style, allowing him to see challenges from multiple angles and encourage flexible problem-solving. Clients describe Jon as considerate, receptive, and thought-provoking, with a personable style that makes the coaching relationship engaging and supportive.

Outside of his professional work, Jon is an avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking, skiing, kayaking, and exploring inspiring new places. His love for adventure and the outdoors reflects the curiosity and openness he brings into his coaching, encouraging clients to embrace growth as a continuous and rewarding journey.

At New Frontiers, Jon supports clients with organization, planning and prioritization, time management, and task follow-through. He also helps individuals strengthen study strategies, academic confidence, and career readiness skills, while supporting motivation and adaptability in the face of challenges. With his balance of expertise, encouragement, and holistic perspective, Jon helps clients build the skills they need for both immediate success and long-term growth.
