About Erin M.

At New Frontiers, Monty brings more than 20 years of teaching and coaching experience to her role, where she supports clients in developing executive functioning skills, building confidence, and finding strategies that unlock their full potential. She is known for her strengths-based approach, which emphasizes identifying and cultivating individual talents while creating practical systems for success. With warmth, insight, and a focus on empowerment, Monty helps clients navigate both academic and personal challenges with clarity and confidence.

Monty’s career has spanned work with students from age 8 through adulthood, reflecting her commitment to supporting learners of all ages and abilities. She holds a Master’s in Education with a focus on Differentiated Learning, an Autism Education Specialist Certification, and post-baccalaureate certification in Learning Disabilities and Neurodiversity. Her experience includes serving gifted students, high-risk youth, and adult learners, always with the goal of meeting individuals where they are and guiding them toward growth.

For over a decade, Monty was part of Fusion Academy, a one-on-one private school for students outside the traditional system. There she held leadership positions as Special Education Lead and Regional Wellness Facilitator, where she not only taught but also mentored colleagues and helped shape student support services. After relocating to Houston, Monty joined Beta Academy as an Instructional Coach and Special Pops Coordinator, supporting teachers in addressing student needs holistically—academically, socially, and emotionally.

Monty has also worked extensively as an executive functioning skills coach, partnering with individuals from childhood through adulthood. She is deeply passionate about supporting those with ADHD, autism, and diverse learning profiles, though her approach is grounded in universal strategies that benefit anyone striving to improve organization, focus, motivation, or resilience. Her philosophy is rooted in the belief that every individual has unique strengths to be uncovered and developed, and she is dedicated to helping clients step into their potential with confidence and self-awareness.

Outside of her professional roles, Monty is a lifelong learner and a passionate advocate for mental health and well-being. She brings creativity, empathy, and curiosity to everything she does, inspiring not only her students and clients but also her colleagues and community.

At New Frontiers, Monty helps clients strengthen executive function skills such as organization, time management, planning and prioritization, task initiation, and follow-through. She also supports individuals in building confidence, managing transitions, and developing communication and self-advocacy skills. With her blend of expertise, leadership experience, and strengths-based perspective, Monty equips clients with the tools and mindset to thrive across academic, professional, and personal settings.
