About Denise B.

A Little About Me

I’ve spent more than three decades in education, and what I love most is watching people of any age discover what they’re capable of. Whether I’m helping someone build a homework system that finally sticks, supporting an adult through a career transition, or helping a client manage a big shift in day-to-day life, I get energized by watching someone move from “I can’t” to “I did.”

Outside of coaching, I’m the mom of two, and I make time for the things that keep me grounded—gardening, the beach, a good workout, and (I’ll admit it) more social media than I probably should. I bring that same sense of curiosity and connection into every coaching relationship.

My Coaching Style

I believe coaching works best when it meets people exactly where they are. My background spans teaching, behavior support, and parent training, and I draw on all of it to build an approach that actually fits a client’s life rather than asking them to fit into a generic plan.

Clients tell me I’m warm, encouraging, and easy to open up to. I like to combine empathy with practical tools, so people leave our sessions not just feeling supported, but with something concrete they can use.

My goal isn’t just to solve today’s problem. It’s to help clients build the confidence and resilience to keep moving forward long after coaching ends.

Working Together

Clients who enjoy working with me often appreciate that I:

  • Meet you exactly where you are, without judgment

  • Combine genuine warmth with practical, real-world tools

  • Help turn big goals into steps that actually feel doable

  • Balance encouragement with honest, caring accountability

  • Celebrate progress along the way, not just the finish line

I believe everyone has the potential to grow—my job is to help turn that potential into confidence, independence, and real progress.
