About Dawn M.
A Little About Me
I hold a Master’s in K–12 Special Education, a Bachelor’s in Psychology, and post-bachelor’s coursework in clinical psychology. I spent the first half of my career coaching and educating adults on wellness and lifestyle management before moving into education, so I’ve spent real time working with adults and students alike. Today I work with clients to build the skills that help them succeed in school, in life after graduation, or simply in handling everyday challenges, along with strengthening literacy in both language and math.
When I’m not coaching, I love spending time with my family and dogs, exploring local natural areas. I’m also into reading, cooking, and traveling.
My Coaching Style
I have a real passion for making learning accessible. We all learn differently, at different rates, so I focus on the individual in front of me rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, and I believe learning should be fun along the way.
I focus on the whole person, helping clients understand how and why they think and process the way they do, and then creating a safe space to practice and build the skills that make everyday life easier.
I strive to create a relationship where clients can be themselves, pairing accountability with compassion so people feel real progress, not just pressure.
Working Together
Clients who enjoy working with me often appreciate that I:
- Meet you as a whole person, not a one-size-fits-all plan
- Bring real experience coaching both adults and students
- Make learning feel fun, not just productive
- Balance accountability with genuine compassion
- Help you build the skills that make everyday life easier
It doesn’t matter when we start, all that matters is that we start. I love helping clients take that first step and every one after it.
