About Colleen Curry
A Little About Me
I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Dowling College with a degree in English Literature and later earned my Master’s in Special Education. With over 19 years in education, I’ve worked with elementary, middle school, high school, college, and professional clients from all kinds of backgrounds.
Outside of coaching, I love gardening, relaxing by a fire pit with family and friends, enjoying a movie night, caring for my furry best friend, listening to live music and I never turn down a night at the theatre.
My Coaching Style
I believe with the right tools, structure, and encouragement, everyone can strengthen their capacity to thrive – that belief shapes every session I run.
Clients describe me as thoughtful and steady, someone who balances accountability with real empathy, especially when it’s hard to get started or stay on track.
I love helping clients build systems for tracking responsibility and managing overwhelm, especially during high-pressure transitions.
Working Together
Clients who enjoy working with me often appreciate that I:
-
Break down complex expectations into manageable steps
-
Help build systems for tracking responsibilities that actually stick
-
Balance accountability with genuine empathy
-
Bring 19+ years of experience meeting people where they are
-
Stay steady with you, especially during high-pressure transitions
I try to be a rainbow in someone else’s cloud – and I bring that same spirit into every coaching relationship.
