About Adam L.
A Little About Me
My background spans learning and development, business consulting, and program leadership. I’m currently pursuing a Master of Social Work at UConn, focusing on individuals, groups, and families. I love helping people translate big intentions into small, doable steps that build towards lasting change.
I live in northwestern Connecticut, where I’m also helping establish a local food cooperative, and enjoy spending time outdoors with my family and two dogs. Before coaching and professional development work, I spent years producing indie and off-Broadway theater in New York; an experience that taught me a lot about creative collaboration.
My Coaching Style
I believe growth is iterative; rooted in experimentation, reflection, and self-compassion, rather than focusing on an unattainable perfection. That perspective shapes how I coach every client.
Clients describe me as steady and able to bring levity to the work, as someone who uses gentle humor and real accountability to help them maintain momentum without burning out.
I especially enjoy supporting people of all ages through periods of transition, helping them rebuild confidence after a setback or prepare for what’s next.
Working Together
Clients who enjoy working with me often appreciate that I:
● Support development of communication skills in addition to executive function strategies
● Break down complex goals into manageable, doable steps
● Use accountability and humor to maintain momentum
● Help you build sustainable systems instead of chasing perfection
● Bring steadiness and curiosity to every session
● Support you through transitions with real compassion
