Frequently Asked Questions
You ask, we
answer
Common questions answered to support your journey.
What is ADHD coaching, and how is it different from therapy?
Therapy explores the emotional and psychological aspects of ADHD, while coaching focuses on practical, action-oriented strategies for managing daily life and achieving goals.
Do I need an ADHD diagnosis to work with a coach?
No. If you struggle with focus, organization, or follow-through, ADHD coaching can still help—even without a formal diagnosis.
What does a coaching session look like?
Each session is personalized, but we follow our RASP model and typically include:
✔ Identifying daily and long-term challenges
✔ Building practical strategies for organization and productivity
✔ Accountability to follow through on action steps
✔ Developing customized systems to sustain progress
Sessions are goal-oriented, interactive, and focused on building lasting habits.
How long does ADHD coaching take?
Every individual is different, but most clients see improvements in 3-6 months, with long-term coaching available for sustained success. On average, we like clients to work with us for at least a year to really ingrain the habits and strategies for you to carry for a lifetime.
What if I’ve tried other solutions and they didn’t work?
Our coaching is highly personalized and designed to work with your ADHD, not against it. We adapt strategies until we find what works for you. We’ve had many clients come to us after trying “everything” else. We find there are two main factors that impact our success:
1) We truly believe each brain is unique, so rather than sticking with strategies that have worked for other clients, we focus on finding what works for you.
2) We believe that culture greatly impacts approach and success. If you did not “culturally resonate” with other supports, they were bound to fail. Give us a call, feel out our culture and see if we may be a better fit!
How do you match me with a coach?
We take a personalized approach to matching you with the right coach based on your needs, learning style, and personality. Our goal is to ensure that you have a supportive and productive coaching relationship that fosters growth.
Do you offer in-person or virtual coaching?
All coaching is fully virtual, providing flexibility to meet wherever works best for you—whether at home, in the office, or on the go.
