Dyslexia is one of the most common forms of neurodivergence and learning disorders worldwide. Estimates suggest that 5–20% of the U.S. population has some degree of dyslexia, with an average prevalence of 8.3%. Due to an increase in the effectiveness of diagnostic tools, rates of dyslexia among U.S. students have been on the rise, with approximately 8.2 million students receiving federal dyslexia services nationwide.
