About Kayce S.
Kayce is a dedicated educator and coach at New Frontiers who brings a thoughtful, structured, and highly empathetic approach to her work with students. Drawing on her background as a Division I athlete at Penn State, she integrates discipline, resilience, and a strategic mindset into her coaching, helping learners build practical systems that support both academic success and personal growth. Kayce specializes in guiding students through challenges that can feel overwhelming, partnering with them to strengthen executive functioning skills, develop effective learning strategies, and build the confidence needed to navigate setbacks with clarity and persistence. She is particularly skilled at meeting students in moments when they feel stuck or discouraged, transforming those experiences into opportunities for growth, self-awareness, and renewed motivation.
Kayce brings over a decade of experience across education, curriculum design, and student support, with a professional background that spans diverse school communities in both the United States and internationally. Her formal training includes her Texas Teachers certification as well as the AIM Education UK Level 3 qualification in Understanding Autism, equipping her with a strong foundation in supporting a wide range of learning profiles. Through her work in varied educational settings, she has developed a deep appreciation for cultural nuance and the many ways students learn, communicate, and engage with the world. This breadth of experience allows her to tailor her coaching to each individual, ensuring that strategies are not only effective but also meaningful and sustainable.
Outside of her professional role, Kayce is a lifelong learner who is deeply curious about how people think, grow, and thrive. She enjoys exploring topics such as nutrition, mental health, cognition, and longevity, often diving into podcasts and research to expand her understanding. She also has a strong interest in history, believing that a deeper awareness of the past helps shape more thoughtful and connected communities. At home, Kayce is an engaged parent who brings the same sense of dedication and intentionality to her family life as she does to her work. As a former athlete, she continues to value movement, discipline, and goal-setting in her daily routine. She also has a deep love for travel and has explored communities around the world, always seeking out local history, food, and stories. One of her favorite aspects of traveling is observing how people learn, communicate, and build connections across cultures—insight she carries into her coaching with every student she supports.
Kayce supports clients in areas such as organization and planning, time management, task initiation, and building consistent routines. She works with students to strengthen focus and follow-through, manage competing priorities, and develop strategies for staying engaged even when tasks feel challenging or uninteresting. She also helps individuals navigate perfectionism, build flexibility when plans change, and improve self-monitoring and accountability. In addition, Kayce supports growth in study strategies, motivation, emotional regulation, and self-advocacy, empowering students to better understand their own learning needs and communicate them with confidence.
